- Made from lightweight woven chiffon fabric in 100% polyester
- Can be made with or without 4" fringe in either white or black
- Knit bamboo fabric trim and matching chiffon belt
- Vibrant print will never fade with wear or washing
- Print will be seen well from both sides
- Rolled edged finishing on hems
- Sewn by hand
- Kimonos with fringe should be hand washed in cold water with a mild phosphate detergent, rinse and hang to dry, avoid washing fringe, do not bleach
- Kimonos without fringe can be machine washed in cold water with a mild phosphate detergent, hang to dry, do not bleach
Peachskin Fabric
- Lightweight soft jersey fabric in 92% polyester, 8% spandex
- Knit bamboo fabric trim and matching chiffon belt
- Vibrant print will never fade with wear or washing
- Print will be seen only 10% on the inside
- Micro overlock hem finishing
- Sewn by hand

Silk Habotai
- Smooth surface with a moderate sheen
- Made of light and airy 100% silk habotai
- Soft, flowy structure with an elegant drape
- First washing: due to some residual ink from the printing process, wash alone in a full-load setting using cold water, mild detergent with 1 cup vinegar and 2 tablespoons of salt
- For future washing: machine wash in cold water, using a phosphate free detergent. Add a mild fabric softener to enhance softness and drape
- Machine dry on low heat or hang to dry
- Iron using silk setting (delicate) with low steam
- Expect some minor shrinkage of less than 1% in width and length after first wash
Production & Shipping Turnaround:
The Art Kimonos from Found in Nature are hand-made to order. Nothing is mass produced, allowing for better quality control and less waste - helping to minimize the environmental impact. Each kimono is individually printed, then cut, sewn and hand finished - a true artisanal approach to fashion design.
Production Time
- The production time for kimonos is approximately 6-business days after receipt of order.
Shipping Time
- Shipments to the US are by USPS Priority Mail, with deliveries estimated to take 1-3 days.
- Shipments to Canada are by Canada Post Express, with estimated deliveries to take 1-2 days.
- Shipments to most other countries are by IPEX, with estimated deliveries to take 10-30 days, depending on location and Customs clearance.
Total Turnaround Time
- To locations in the US and Canada, delivery is estimated to be within 2-3 weeks
- To locations in other countries, delivery is estimated to be within 4-6 weeks.
Return Policy
Custom printed orders are non-refundable. If there is an issue with your order, we will be happy to work with you to come to a solution. Since all our items are handmade, there may be small variations between or even within an order. To resolve cases, we must be contacted within a reasonable amount of time from the product shipping date. For any issue regarding an order, please contact us within 10-days of the ship date for Canadian and US orders or within 15-days for international orders or we may not be able to help resolve the issue. If there is an error with your order or if there are any changes you wish to make after your order has been placed, we require that you contact us within 8hrs of the order being placed or by the following business day if the order was placed over the weekend. All returns are handled on a case-by-case basis. In most cases, The Artisan Marketplace does not cover the shipping cost of a returned item. Returns must be received within 30-days.
