Fabric Choices & Care:
Cotton Canvas
This is a heavy weight textile (275 g/m2) made of 100% cotton. The fabric color is off-white and has a tight weave, holding its structure well without being rigid. Cotton canvas is an excellent choice for those desiring a durable option that still has a degree of movement and drape.
Due to some residual ink from the print process, for first washing wash alone with a full load setting in cold water. Add a mild detergent, 1 cup vinegar and 2 tsp salt. For future washes, machine wash with cold water with a phosphate free detergent.
Machine dry on high heat.
Iron on cotton setting or medium to high heat.
Expect some shrinking: 2-3% in width and length
Poly Canvas
This is a heavy-weight fabric (360 g/m2) made of 100% polyester. The fabric color is white and has a highly structured weave with a matte surface finish and a high degree of durability. This textile is an excellent choice for anyone preferring the ease of polyester and a structured shape for their tote bag.
Machine wash with warm water in a regular cycle using a phosphate free detergent and no bleach.
Machine dry on medium to high heat or hang to dry.
Iron on synthetic setting.
Expect minor shrinking: less than 1% in width and length
Production & Shipping Turnaround:
The Canvas Market Tote Bags from Found in Nature are hand-made to order. Nothing is mass produced, allowing for better quality control and less waste - helping to minimize the environmental impact. Each tote bag is individually printed, then cut, sewn and hand finished - a true artisanal approach to fashion design.
Production Time
- The production time for kimonos is approximately 7-business days after receipt of order.
Shipping Time
- Shipments to the US are by USPS Priority Mail, with deliveries estimated to take 1-3 days.
- Shipments to Canada are by Canada Post Express, with estimated deliveries to take 1-2 days.
- Shipments to most other countries are by IPEX, with estimated deliveries to take 10-30 days, depending on location and Customs clearance.
Total Turnaround Time
- To locations in the US and Canada, delivery is estimated to be within 2-3 weeks
- To locations in other countries, delivery is estimated to be within 4-6 weeks.
Return Policy
Custom printed orders are non-refundable. If there is an issue with your order, we will be happy to work with you to come to a solution. Since all our items are handmade, there may be small variations between or even within an order. To resolve cases, we must be contacted within a reasonable amount of time from the product shipping date. For any issue regarding an order, please contact us within 10-days of the ship date for Canadian and US orders or within 15-days for international orders or we may not be able to help resolve the issue. If there is an error with your order or if there are any changes you wish to make after your order has been placed, we require that you contact us within 8hrs of the order being placed or by the following business day if the order was placed over the weekend. All returns are handled on a case-by-case basis. In most cases, The Artisan Marketplace does not cover the shipping cost of a returned item. Returns must be received within 30-days.
